I wrote «Lieder im September» in two weeks in September of 2024.
Thinking about the place where I live, Zurich, myself and what I was perceiving in the world around me.
Sometimes doing things quick is better. Minimal arrangements, just Fulvio Ferrari playing piano.

I grew up speaking German, Italian, and French. I remember, as a kid, switching languages in every sentence.
At home we had a piano, a guitar and an ukulele, somebody was always playing.
When we went on a holiday my mother’s relatives spoke Romansh, a language similar to Portuguese.
No I’m with a Bolivian woman and we speak Spanish at home.
We recorded «Europeans» with a guitar, a ukulele and a piano in Ferrara, songs of ordinary Europeans, in six languages.
Two friends helped me, Piero Sidoti sang on «recommencer».
Fulvio Ferrari played piano on «recommencer», «Lausanne» and «Mammutbaum».
